Oh I'm convinced they actually looked like this. Mr. and Mrs. James Squatter and all their squatty little kids.
It is a fun shot. And what's interesting is it's leaning up against the railing across from the booths on the boardwalk. You'd think a fun mirror would be at a stand hoping to draw crowds in, not along the beach side. Hmmmm...Coney Island, Atlantic City, Ocean City? Some boardwalk on the East Coast. A Sunday romp on the boardwalk away from the stifling heat of the inner city.

This is really a fun shot! People used to dress up when they left the house back then, didn't they? Especially for a date.
